Unsolved Mysteries is a live Escape Room experience. You are inserted into a fantasy environment, like actors on a film set.  Find the clues, solve the puzzles and escape!

Our games may appear a little more expensive than most escape rooms, this is because The Cabin – Chapter 1 & The Basement – Chapter 2 have more than 1 dedicated actor especially for your booking, we do not have our staff run more than one experience, so your game is a private showing.

An escape room is an immersive, interactive experience where guests are inserted into rooms filled with puzzles and clues.   If you would like a more detailed description, give us a call!

We consider The Cabin – Chapter 1 & The Basement – Chapter 2 to be thrillers.  That being said, the stories we tell through our games contain horror elements and can be. considered unnerving. We don’t rely on cheap jump-scares, we instead create a creeping sense of unease, that anything may happen, more physiclogical thrillers!  We are not a scare maze!

If at any time during your experience, you no longer wish to participate, you are welcome to leave your game. We pride ourselves on our empathetic and kind staff who are prepared to assist with any spooked guests.

Please note that no refunds or reschedules will be available to guests who tap out of their experience.

We are located within the grounds of Fort Amherst.  Our games are housed within the Redoubt Guardhouse and accessible via stairs, which is at the top of Fort Amherst.  You will not be able to enter or exit the fort via the main gates after dark, therefore use the postcode below to go to Maxwell Road and enter via the top gates. 

We have parking on site, directly outside our location.  ENTER ME7 5SQ into your SATNAV.   You can park on Maxwell Road.

Please arrive 15 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED START TIME. This is NECESSARY time that must be allotted for pregame preparations. DO NOT BE LATE, if you arrive after your start time, you may have your game slot forfeited and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Our actors are part of your experience, they are characters in the story, they are not scare actors, they are trained professional actors with thousands of games under their belts.   The actors will not touch you.  And NO, you may not touch them. ANY touching or abusing of the actors (verbal, physical, or otherwise) will result in an immediate Game Over and you will be asked to leave the premises.
